Beautiful DIY Jewelry Boxes

If we had to name one thing that we really make a lot of, we could easily name DIY jewelry as something we can be found creating frequently. Between that and our love for finding really unique pieces of vintage, costume, and store bought jewelry, we’ve actually found ourselves in need if a jewelry box now because we’ve accrued such a wide collection! Being the avid crafters we are, we naturally wanted to make our own if possible, so we’ve been on the hunt for DIY jewelry box concepts.

Just in case you love the idea of making your own jewelry box just as much as we did, if not more, here are 15 of the best concepts, designs, and tutorials that we’ve come across in our search so far!

Vintage style cigar boxes are a DIY blessing because they’re a great size, totally customizable, and you can make so many diverse things with them. That makes them perfect for using as an upcycled jewelry box! We like the idea of decorating things inside and out whenever possible, though, so we were pretty big fans of this tutorial from Annabode that teaches you how to add a cool marbling effect when you open the box’s lid.
